That integral curb, gutter and sidewalk be allowed on foothill. <br />3. That drainage pipes be carried up to foothill and that ta`6 foot drainage <br />easement be set on Lot 5, Block 16. <br />4. (Notes: Lot 14, <br />Block 199 does not conform to Ordinance No. 631, Section 5:3)• <br />Councilman Morgan moved approval of recommendation of Planning Commision subject to <br />the six conditions, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />PLAN1dING 001,MISSIOId LETTER regarding 11 foot strip along south side of Vera Avenue at <br />Junipero, Hucke property. <br />They approved that resubdivision of portion of Lot 25, W. W. & M. Subdivision be <br />amended to include that h4r. Hucke be required to dedicate 11 feet widening strip <br />along south side of Vera Avenue, fronting his property. Councilman Morgan moved <br />approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION THAT M. J. KING AND THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT each <br />beheld responsible for paving one-half of Connecticut Drive. This bordered Woodside <br />Terrace No.' 5 Subdivision. The Planning Commission recommended that full width improve- <br />ments would be put in on Connecticut Drive when either party improved their respective <br />property, which meant that when one party was ready to proceed with their half of <br />the improvements, an agreement would be entered into by the School Board and M. J. <br />King to improve Connecticut Drive the full width required by the City of Redwood City. <br />Councilman Jones moved approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Royer and <br />carried. <br />TRAFFIC FACT-FINDING COMMITTEE RECOIJMENDATIOId AGAINST PARKING METERS ON JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />between the Southern Pacific tracks and Middlefield Road. The committee did not feel <br />that meters were necessary or justified at the present time. However, it planned to <br />keep this area under observation with the possibility of eventually being able to <br />make a recommendation for such an installation. Councilman Royer moved approval of <br />report, seconded by Councilman Morgan. Councilman Morgan thought the Commuter's <br />Parking problem should be seriouly considered in regards to obtaining a portion of <br />Butcher Field for this purpose and he was certain that people working in stores were <br />as much offenders for all day parking as commuters. Administrative Assistant Miller <br />stated this was a deciding factor in reluctance to install more meters in fringe <br />areas as it would only move the all day parking to another street and would not <br />accomplish its purpose until more parking was found for the commuters around the <br />depot, Motion carried. <br />`TRAFFIC FACT-FINDING RECOMMENDATION FOR FIVE INIUNUTE PARKING AND REMOVAL OF ONE PARKING <br />11iETER IN FRONT OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. BUILDING . Councilman Morgan moved approval <br />but motion was lost for want of a second. City Attorney Currie stated if this could <br />
