Councilman Morgan suggested <br />a meeting this week. y <br />He asked the City Attorney how many votes of the Council <br />were <br />necessary g <br />to et an issue on the ballot and if that failed what the next procedure <br />mould be. City Attorney replied a plural majority vote was all that was <br />necessary <br />and if this did not carry an initiative petition from the public would be the next <br />step, He was to check on the number of signatures required, who would be authorized <br />to sign and send him the information. <br />510T SIGNS WELLESLEY PARK., Councilman Granger asked that this be placed on the agenda <br />as residents on Edgewood Road asked for signs and street repair. City Engineer. <br />�; .;'' ',t f ;' d <br />stated the street needed sealing. Oiling and screening were suggested. The North <br />" ! <br />Redwood Improvement Club represented 90% of the park and felt they were neglected <br />by the City. Mr. Jain stated they picked out the major streets for street signs and <br />j'�yl`','It <br />only for routes in Friendly Acres. Mayor Britschgi had attended the Improvement Club <br />;i , ;.! <br />meetings and they registered many complaints, some of them inconsequential. New subdivisions were not included, curbs <br />ILI,,' <br />were high enough and names were painted on those.
