Attorney Woodman appeared
in behalf of his client Thos. Mulvui who had, in the belief that he was the owner
of the lot in question, paid all taxes for several years. In attempting to sell the
property he learned his title was in doubt, and asked the opportunity to bid on
the lot. Councilman Herkner advised the Real Estate Committee had looked at the
lot and recommended a minimum be set at ?600. Inasmuch as Mr. Mulvui was the
owner of 25 foot lots on either side, it was thought that he would be protected in
that the lot would not be of any value to another bidder. Councilman Herkner moved
that the lot be offered at the minimum price of y$600, seconded by Councilman Royer
and carried.
R
1
CO
