rtunitq RgSTAURAIIT APPLICATION SPORT CLUB, 811 TrAlil STREET, Councilman Spillers moved „ <br />to Grant license, seconded by Councilman Morgan. Motion failed to carry on <br />c- <br />roll call, Councilmen Herkner and Britschgi voting NO and Councilman Granger <br />lcilman passing vote. Councilman Jones absent. Councilman Royer suggested Councilmen <br />visit the premises and make an inspection of the facilities. Mayor Britschgi <br />suggested the possibility that all other bars would fall under the same category. <br />Councilman Granger stated his action was a protest against the methods of the <br />Board of Equalization in granting liquor permits. Councilman Granger moved <br />the matter be hold over to April 2nd so that a full council could vote on the <br />request, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />man RESTAURANT APPLICATIONS, NIPA HUT, 2550 EL CAMINO REAL AND REDWOOD CAFE, 925 MAIN <br />STREET, granted on motion of Councilman Morgan) seconded by Councilman Spillers <br />and carried. <br />her REPORT OF WATER SUPERINTENDENT IuINTER ON FLUORENE IN DATER SUPPLY carried on agenda <br />on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />REQUEST FOR SOFT DRINK CONCESSION AT S4WITE POOL REFERRED TO PARKS AND RECREATION <br />COI,5IISSION ON motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman Royer and <br />or- carried. <br />COUNCIIIIAN GRANGER REQUESTED INFORMATION AS TO PRESENT STATUS OF STREET IMPROVEMENT <br />Lon JOBS. City Engineer explained contractor had not been notified to resume work <br />due to possible inclemency of weather. <br />COUNCILMAN SPILLERS REFERRED TO SOME THREE ACRES OF LAND IN THE LENOLT AREA which <br />could be purchased by the City for possible park or play areas. Referred to <br />Parks and Recreation Commission for study and recommendation on motion of Council- <br />man Spiller, seconded by Councilman Morgan. Motion carried.
