Councilman Granger wished to make it <br />lotion a correction regarding his remark pertaining to condition of Whipple Avenue in ! <br />P project, ilk j <br />Lenolt Tract Improvementthat he was calling attention of Councilmen to <br />PION}, 1"' ( i,, � �' • <br />investigate. Councilman Herkner had suggested a meeting of local contractors <br />with City Manager and City Engineer and Council Members who wished to attend .in <br />3m- regard to general street repair to ascertain - if the City was getting its money► s <br />worth. Jdayor Britschgi had discussed Edgewood Road and it was the unanimous de= <br />City cision of the Council to have a study meeting with local contractors. City Mana- <br />'e- - ger and' Engineer. Councilman Royer had moved approval of minutes, seconded by <br />3 ready Councilman Spillers, and Councilman Granger moved that above corrections be made <br />a part of the minutes, seconded by Councilman Herkner and corrections were accepted <br />�fif <br />as amendment to first motion by maker and second.it <br />! E <br />[EN REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE REPORT RE PROPOSED RESUBDIVISION 3 - 25 ft lots into 2 - 372 ft ? '! <br />lots Vera Avenue, Corner Quartz. Nor. Black, 753 Quartz, a neighbor opposed this <br />subdivision, however approval had been made by the Planning Commission. On question <br />that City Attorney stated they could be forced to build on a 50 ft lot which would leave ! •i ;�� <br />Aressed only a 25 ft lot and it could not be denied them to build on this. Councilman <br />otand Jones dtht tis b <br />moved a h'` referred to the Real Estate Committee for a 'report back$ <br />f. <br />o erf <br />fdby I'll M.G.Armijo stated residence there did not observe proper setback lines. TIEDEMAN WAS SWORN IN BY THE CITY CLERK AS A NEW <br />MEMBER OF THE PLANNING <br />o the COMMISSION. He was welcomed by the Mayor and it was his further comment that the <br />:I <br />work done b3 those on the Planning Commission made the work of the Council members <br />ent that much easier. Mr. Tiedemann expressed his interest to.' <br />help make Redwood City <br />I; <br />kner a better city. i �! <br />ntNATIONAL 1-10TOR BEARING REPORT BY COUNCILMAN HERKNER, RE PAVING NATIONAL AVENUE. Agree- <br />ionlent <br />signed by the Council some 10 years ago regarding paying was being changed. !:'r <br />this work <br />National Motor Bearing Co..9 contended that City was obligated to do <br />r, and to fill .51 acres of ground by agreement but the new agreement eminated the fid <br />I <br />Cit 1035'000 to 8,000. New proposed agreement was <br />y s obligation which would cost <br />4 <br />signed by Mr. 'Milton Bulkely, Controller.
