Junior Chamber of Commerce recommended no <br />parking zone west side Middlefield Road from Theatre Street to Jefferson Avenue between <br />the hours of 4:00 and 7.00 PM to expedite flow of traffic. On motion of Councilman % <br />Spillers, seconded by Councilman Morgan, recommendation of the Traffic Fact Finding I' <br />Committee "No Parking Zone" was approved. The Traffic i I <br />1 ' <br />i <br />Fact Finding Committee recommended approval and suggested that the Council request <br />such an improvement by the State Division of Highways. This suggestion did not meet <br />Y with the approval of the Council and on motion of Council Granger, seconded by Council- <br />, <br />man Spillers recommendation was denied. The Junior Chamber of Commerce recom- <br />mended widening of Woodside Road and Main Street to six lanes of traffic, four moving <br />and two parking; realignment of Woodside Road between Kentfield and Valota Road to <br />eliminate all or part of present curb; and establishing a 35 IGH Zone the entire <br />length of Woodside Road within the City Limits. The third item has already been taken <br />care of. In regard to the other two recommendations the Committee feels that while <br />"= they may be desirable they are outside the jurisdiction of the Traffic Committee.
