City Engineer <br />Jain requested authorization to prepare plans and specifications for this project <br />and that the City Auditor be authorized to advance the necessary funds from the <br />General Fund, such cost to be reimbursed from the Assessment District. City Engineer <br />advises cost to the City because of deed from the City and County of San Francisco <br />for acquisition of property for extension of Oak Avenue would be approximately <br />unless a subdivision now pending before 'the Planning Commission on the north side of <br />Oak Avenue bears a portion of the cost across the Heteh-Hetchy right-of-way. Request <br />approved on motion of Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Jones. Mayor <br />Britschgi suggested that option furnished by Mr. Hildreth be taken up at this time <br />and included in the same project. This condition was included in the »original motion <br />which carried. Councilman Royer moved that the Hildreth option be checked by the <br />City Attorney, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />NOCIUTAN ROYER SUGGESTED THAT THE NAMES OF THE EMERALD LAKE COMMITTEE BE ANNOUNCED TO <br />t <br />THE PUBLIC. Mayor Britschgi advised that this will be done in the local papers on <br />Referred <br />nan Granger October 31st. He stated further that the original committee of ten had been extended <br />to take to twelve names in order to take in all areas in the district. Councilman Royer <br />also requested information on the appraisal of the Poole property on Middlefield lot. <br />This would be forthcoming in the near future. <br />Lghways ° <br />SIDS ON NEW FIRE STATION.
