Councilman Royer moved acceptance of recommendation and authorized advertisement for bids, seconded by Councilman Jones. Councilman Herkner was of the opinion that alternate bids should be requested on the same basis as on years 1950-51. After receipt of bids the City could accept the bid best suited. Motion seconded by Councilman Royer, and carried. DPECTION REPORTS ON BUILDINGS AT 1116 and 1120 Jefferson Avenue (Podesto) made by the Building, Fire and Health Departments. The findings of the departments were that these buildings were beyond repair and should be demolished. On motion of Councilman Jones seconded by -Councilman Royer, the buildings were ordered posted. Motion.carried.
