<br />WHEREAS 0 the City Council of said City did, on the 3rd day of July, 14 ws bony,
<br />adovt its Resolution of Preliminary Approval of the City Engineer's report, wherein s,
<br />it did preliminarily approve the plans and specifications for the-acquisitionredtoarr and of
<br />improvements and all work auxiliary thereto and which may be required to carry ora
<br />out same, all as more particularly described and set -forth in Resolution of Inten- the
<br />tion No. 890 adopted by said Council on July 3, 1950:

<br />n NOYi, TKEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the City Clerk of said City is hereby were
<br />directed to publish twice in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper of general shat
<br />circulation published and printed in said City, a notice inviting sealed proposals and
<br />or bids for the construction of said improvements, and referring to the plans
<br />and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk, the first publication
<br />of which shall be at least ten days prior to the date of opening bids. Said Cleri: and
<br />is also directed to mill copies of said notice to Daily Construction News 3Tenth meei
<br />Kearny Street, San Francisco, California, and to Daily Pacific Builder,
<br />Street, San Francisco, California, said mailing to be at least days before the day
<br />fixed for opening bids. and
<br />All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the
<br />order of the City, amounting to ten per cent of the bid, or by a bond in said
<br />amount and payable to said City, signed by the bidder and two sureties who shall ;
<br />justify before any officer competent to administer an oath, or by a corporate
<br />surety, in double said amount, and over and above ell statutory exemptions, said
<br />check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become payable to said City in case.
