Seconded by Councilman <br />Spillers and carried. <br />REQUEST FOR ACCEPTANCE OF TEP:PORARY SEWERS, 1.IATJZAIJITA STREET APARTNEITTS, R. 11. Varsi. <br />Attorney Wayne Millington appeared on behalf of Tar. Varsi and Mr. Nelson, request- <br />ing temporary sewer connection in order that apartments might be occupied. I,1r. <br />Varsi had previously posted bond for the installation of a temporary sewer con- <br />nection to this first apartment, building, across the street from the site under <br />discussion. He was willing to post bond for installation and maintenance of a <br />second temporary sewer connection in order that the apartments in the new building) <br />might be rented. City Engineer Jain state that the original installation of temp -I <br />orary sewer Azad not been entirely satisfactory and that sufficient bond should be <br />posted to „uarantoe installation according to Engineering Department specifications <br />It was pointed out that the cost of collection of expenses under a bond frequently) <br />exceeded the sum being collected, and t hat a cash bond would be preferred in this <br />case.
