Varsi and Mr. Nelson, request- ing temporary sewer connection in order that apartments might be occupied. I,1r. Varsi had previously posted bond for the installation of a temporary sewer con- nection to this first apartment, building, across the street from the site under discussion. He was willing to post bond for installation and maintenance of a second temporary sewer connection in order that the apartments in the new building) might be rented. City Engineer Jain state that the original installation of temp -I orary sewer Azad not been entirely satisfactory and that sufficient bond should be posted to „uarantoe installation according to Engineering Department specifications It was pointed out that the cost of collection of expenses under a bond frequently) exceeded the sum being collected, and t hat a cash bond would be preferred in this case.
