MRS. V. SCHULBA, 813 CANYON ROAD, APPLICANT FOR ANNEXATION REQUESTED LETTER ASSURING SEWER ?'
ordi
CONNECTION FOR FHA. Michael V. Ignotz had petitioned annexation at request of (
PARK 4 RE
majority of residents in Block 11 2, 3, & 6 bordering Canyon Road off Jefferson Avenue
RE -
adjacent to City limits. Mrs. Schulba was in this group, and owner of three lots,
FAC
10, 11 and 12. A house was under construction on Lot 10. Construction had been stop,+
T)AT
by the FHA unless she could show in writing they would have a sewer connection or
a septic tank permit. Sewer was approximately 70 ft. from her property line in the
Oak Ridge Subd. She was told by Assistant Engineer Carroza this was the only way she .
would be able to connect to the City sewer line. If annexation sloes not go through SOME
she would like to annex her three pieces of property to the City and asked for a lettef`
stating that she would be able to have sewers in order to continue with the construc-
tion of her house. Councilman snit l o„. , 9 e
report could be given at the next meeting, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
Mrs. Schulba appeared and appealed for the letter at this time. Councilman Granger I
then moved reconsideration of problem, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried.
iAttorney stated this could come into the City as uninhabited territory, but if Mrs-
Schulba petitioned this could overlap the first
Petition, and would take another
60 days until annexation was finally determined. Councilman Granger moved. that City
Attorney be authorized to write a letter on the basis that if annexed to the City
Sewer connection would be allowed with the approval of City Engineer, seconded by
Councilman Royer. Motion carried.
