<br />UNIFORM ORDINANCE CONTROLLING JUVENILE LOITERING, recommended by the San Mateo County
<br />Law'Enforcement Association. Copy of proposed ordinance had been forwarded to each
<br />member of the Council. City Attorney Currie stated adoption of this ordinance could
<br />include repeal of any conflicting ordinance. Ordinance introduced on motion of
<br />Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilwoman. Tinney and carried.
<br />EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REGULATING PUBLIC AUCTIONS. Copy of proposed ordinance had been
<br />supplied to each Councilman. Councilman Royer moved introduction of ordinance, sec-
<br />onded by Councilman Spillers, Walter Hilton and S. Reinhard, local jewelers, spoke
<br />briefly in favor of such an ordinance. Motion carried.
<br />LETTER FROM SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY DENYING PROPERTY FOR EXTENSION OF FRAMiLIN STREET TO
<br />CONNECT WITH WINKLEBLECK STREET. This matter had been discussed with Mr. Wheeler, d
<br />Engineer for the railroad. Mayor Granger suggested preparation of a sketch indica-
<br />ting the small amount of property needed for this extension, this sketch to be for-
<br />warded to Mr. Jordan for further consideration. So ordered on motion of Councilman
<br />Herkner, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
<br />MRS. MYRA BECHTS CLAIM FOR ALLEGED DAMAGES TO AUTO. The claim was denied and referred to
<br />the insurance carrier on motion of Councilman Royer, seconded by Councilman Jones and
<br />carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION RESUBDIVISION OF Lot 6, Block 11, Oak Knoll Manor,
<br />(274.5 Hopins Avenue) into two lots. Recommendation approved on motion of Councilman
<br />Royer, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION, AFTER BVO PUBLIC HEARINGS, REZONING AREA IN RECENT
<br />ANNEXATION HIGHDANDS OF EMERALD LAKE, was approved on motion of Councilman Spillers,

<br />Emerals Lake; Block 1 and Lots 7 to 12 inclusive, Block 3, Lots 7 to 13 in-
<br />clusive, Block 6, Highlands of Emerald Lake; Lots 2 to 7 inclusive, Block 1,
<br />Kensington Square; Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 22, Oak Knoll Manor and portion of
<br />Lot k, Block 18 Oak Knoll Manor and Cordilleras Park Addition area to be
<br />zoned from "U" to R-1 District; and that Lot 81 g, 10, Horgan Ranch be zoned
<br />from "U" District to 0-1-H District; and that Pessano Territory north of

<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED RESUBDIVISION PORTION OF LOT 20 (1880 Valota Road) into
<br />two lots, 1 - 501 x 131.331. Recommendation approved on motion of Councilman
<br />Spillers, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL APPLICATION OF R. C. SIFFORD TO REZONE LOTS 1 to
<br />5, Block 10 and Lots 3 and LE, Block 9 and Lots 1 and 2, Block 12, Kensington Square
<br />from R-1 to C-1. Two public hearings were held by the Commission. On motion of
<br />Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman Herkner, public hearing was to be held, date
<br />to be decided later. Motion carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL TO REZONE LOTS 10 to 20, Block 6, Redwood Indus-
<br />trial Tract #2 (2nd Ave) from M to C -2-H District. Two public hearings were held
<br />and no protests registered. Councilman Jones moved approval, seconded by Council- �t
<br />woman Tinney and carried, City Attorney to prepare necessary ordinance.
<br />PROGRESS PAYMENT C. J. SIMMS, WEED ABATEMENT CONTRACTOR. Claim was approved by City
<br />Engineer Jain and payment ordered on motion of Councilman Royer, seconded by Council-
<br />woman Tinney and carried.
<br />CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES. Councilman Royer moved City Attorney prepare agreement for
