WILSON. <br />I <br />Resolution offered by Councilman Royer who moved adoption, seconded by Councilwoman <br />i <br />Tinney, and carried on roll call, Councilman Britschgi noted absent. <br />AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT COVERING IMPROVEMENTS TO BE INSTALLED BY M. J. <br />KING. City Manager Rolison authorized to execute such an agreement on motion of Coun- <br />cilman Royer, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />MINIATURE RAILROAD. City Attorney Currie stated he had received a call from Mr. Layton <br />requesting contract replacing the one expired November 1, 1951. He state further that <br />no revenue had been received from this venture. Councilman Royer moved.that this be <br />referred to the Council Recreation Commission (Royer and Jones) to report back at the <br />June 16th meeting. Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />MAYOR GRANGER STATED HE HAD SENT A LIST OF ALT, STAPiDING COMMITTEES to all Councilmen and <br />requested that lists be returned with individual choices as soon as possible. <br />CITY ATTORNEY CURRIE ADVISED NECESSITY OF SECURING EASEMENTS before Tide Gate Structure <br />could be started. Followed a discussion as to the proposed abandonment of a portion <br />of Steinberg Street west of Bayshore. It was thought this might be needed by the State <br />as a connection to access road to the Bayshore Freeway. City Engineer Jain will contact <br />the State in regard to this. <br />COUNCILMAN JONES CALLED ATTENTION TO THE MEETING WITH PROPERTY OWNERS TO DISCUSS PRO -RATING <br />of costs for Creek covering on June 5, at 7:30 P. M. to which all Councilmen are <br />invited. <br />COUNCILWOMAN TINNEY ADVISED THAT SHE HAD TENTATIVELY ARRANGED FOR A TRIP OUTSIDE THE STATE <br />and requested the usual authorization. So allowed on motion of Councilman Spillers, <br />seconded by Councilman Royer, and carried. <br />MAYOR GRANGER PROPOSED A MEMO BOOK TO BE PREPARED by City Clerk Dodge to be furnished each <br />member of the City Council in which memos to the City Manager could be prepared, a <br />copy to be retained in the book for follow-up purposes. <br />�] SIGNALS, 3 -WAY, JEFFERSON AVENUE - MIDDLEFIELD INTERSECTION. Councilman Spillers commented <br />"1�i1I) on the operation of these signals, it being his contention that confusion Iiad resulted. <br />Chief Wood advised the signals had been set after careful studies and traffic counts. <br />Councilman Jones moved, seconded by Councilman Royer, that the matter be referred back <br />to the Traffic Study Committee for further consideration. <br />ABANDONMENT PORTION OF STEINBERGER STREET IN REGARD TO TIDEGATE STRUCTURE. Due to urgency, <br />it was thought wise to act promptly, therefore Councilman Royer moved approval contin- <br />gent upon approval of the State, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />Ii <br />ADJOURNMENT AT 10:05 P.
