40 OF DINO PARDINT TO RDSUBDIVICE A PORTION OF LOTS 27 and 28, ROUSSEL SUBDIVISION <br />(corner Central and Pardini,found after a survey that the previous <br />reaubdivislon approved puts aline through his house. Inasmuch as the lots did o, <br />contain less than 4800 Sq. Ft. each it was thqught that a better solution could <br />,be worked out in regard to the request of Mr. Pardini. Councilwoman Tinney moved <br />that the matter be referred back to the Planning Commission for further study, <br />seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL. OF APPLICATION OF T. REVIGLIO TO MOVE A HOUSE <br />from 748 Woodside Road to Lot 3, Block H, Woodside Acres (Oxford and Palm). Council- <br />man Royer Moved approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and <br />carried. <br />APPLICATIONS FOR USED CAR PERMITS: AL L RENEWALS. <br />Bray Motor Company Davies Auto Company Ferris Miles, Inc. <br />Cataldo Motors Paul Diebert Motors Ryan & Harper, Inc. <br />Clarkson Motors R. W. McCulloch Company Town Motor Company <br />Redwood Nash Motors. <br />Permits vvere granted on motion of Councilman Herkner, seconded by Councilman Royer <br />and carried. <br />LETTER FROM SAN MATEO COUNTY HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION SOLICITING $10 FOR MEMBERSHIP. Report <br />from City Attorney on legal status. It was decided that the City could not legally <br />appropriate money requested and Clerk Dodge was directed to so notify the Historial <br />Association on motion of Councilman Britschgi, seconded by Councilman Royer and <br />carried. <br />LETTER FROM ST. PIUS CHURCH REQUESTING POLICE OFFICER SUNDAY MORNINGS TO CONTROL TRAFFIC. <br />Report by City Manager. After discussion of the problem the matter was referred back <br />A -A <br />J <br />to Police Chief Wood for further handling on motion of Councilman Royer, seconded by <br />Councilman Britschgi, it being understood that he would attempt to locate a suitable <br />man for this purpose, the expense to be borne by the church. Motion car -vied. <br />APPLICATION FOR COMMERCIAL LICENSE TO RAISE AND SELL SQUABS, OTTO WALTHER, 1671 Valets, Road. <br />After discussion, matter was dropped from agenda. <br />DEED FROM LESLIE SALT COMPANY COVERING PROPERTY NECESSARY TO 114INTAIN AND OPERATE STORM <br />DRAINAGE FACILITIES. City Clerk Dodge was authorized to accept deed on motion of <br />Councilman Britschgi, seconded by Councilwoman Tinney and carried. <br />REPORT ON BID, SALE OF SLUDGE, SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, Mr. K. H. Roy, 7921 B-ranoiforte <br />Drive, Route 1, Santa Cruz, bid as follows: <br />One dollar ($1.00) per ton or fifty cents (00.50) per cubic yard, for a period of one <br />year with the option to buy at the same price for the following ten years. <br />The bid of Mr. Roy is qualified as follows: <br />1. Option to buy at the same price for the following ten years. <br />2. Contractor will not replace sand in sludge beds, but will leave the drying beds <br />clean and level. <br />3. Contractor shall be granted the privilege to bring in portable equipment on the <br />City property to perform the work of grinding and bagging the material on the <br />site, and will hold the City free of any liability incurred by their operations. <br />4. Contractor requests permission to connect to the power supply at the selvage Treat- <br />ment Plant and use necessary electric current at no cost to him. <br />City Attorney Currie stated that a 10 year contract did not appear feasible and after <br />full discussion it was decided that Mr. Roy be contacted further and offer him contract <br />for one year with option, to ,renew-,,, based, an royaltyor--f-iranc)ai-se,-baslsiI -C-ouncilman <br />Herkner moved that Metter be referred to the City Attorney to.work out a satisfactory <br />Ar,range=ent with Mr. Roy, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />L <br />
