Mayor <br />Granger announced this was the time for the hearing. <br />Mr. Edward Bustardo, 1703 Vera Avenue, protested the paving of Junipero from Vera Avenue <br />to the creek, thus becoming a dead end street. He stated his estimated assessment of <br />$992 was excessive. <br />Mr. T. R. Ward, 1711 Vera Avenue, offered the same objections as the foregoing. Both <br />of these parties were assured by the City Engineer that they would not be assessed for <br />sewers if they already had sewer connections. <br />Mr. Krebs, 282 Junipero, stated he was in favor of the project but thought his assess- <br />ment was too high. <br />Mr. Sharp, 261 Junipero, also appeared before the Council. <br />The City Clerk read three written protests as follows: <br />Hermina and T.
