<br />FURTHER REPORT APPRAISAL PARCEL I, Lots 17 and 18, Block 2, PARCEL II, Lots 17 and 18, Block
<br />1, Reese Subdivision. Mr. Herkner reported that the Real Estate Committee concurred in
<br />their original report, Parcel #1,•1,000 net to the City, Parcel #2, $700 net to the
<br />City, and this was in accordance and had been agreed to by the Silver Realty Company,
<br />agent for the purchaser.
<br />FURTHER REPORT ON LOTS 16, 19, and 26, Block 2, Stambaugh Street Addition. This had been ad-
<br />vertised but no bids were received for the April 7th Councilmeeting. Councilman Herkner
<br />reported for the Real Estate Committee there was nothing further on this. Councilman
<br />Jones moved this be dropped from the agenda, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. Coun-
<br />cilman Royer inquired from the City,Attorney if they lowered the price if this would
<br />be beneficial to the City. City Collector Perrin stated the assessed value had been
<br />placed at $p250 and that Mr. Simon Peters had previously been interested and might be
<br />again. These were isolated 25 ft. lots. Councilman Jones withdrew his motion with the
<br />consent of the second. Councilman Herkner moved that this again be referred to the
<br />Real Estate Committee for further report, seconded by Councilman Jones, and carried.
<br />REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE REPORT ON ANTHONY FRITZ'S OFFER TO PURCHASE Lot 22, Block 12, West
<br />Redwood, (St. Francis off Redwood Avenue). Committee recommended a price of $600,
<br />clear to the City. Councilman Britschgi moved that authority be given 'to advertise the
<br />sale of lots, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
<br />1 CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT ON STATUS OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE. City Attorney Currie presented map
<br />to the Council members and discussion ensued in regard to City owned property, that
<br />owned by CQuthern Pacific, suggested removal of poles if the Southern Pacific Company
<br />would cooperate, and establishment of setback lines. Councilman Royer moved that this
<br />be referred to the Planning Commission to consider setting reasonable setback lines on
<br />Pennsylvania Avenue, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, and carried.
<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED RESUBDIVISION Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Reese Subdivision
<br />(corner Redwood and Johnson) into 2 lots 83 x 63 and 80 x 63 feet, applicant Walter
<br />Remmers. Councilman Herkner moved approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman
<br />Britsohgi and carried.
<br />PLANNING COMIV[ISSION RECOMMENDED RESUBDIVISION OF PORTIONS OF Lot 1, Block C. Woodside Acres,
<br />Gordon Avenue (between Palm Avenue and Redwood Avenue) into 2 Lots 43.8 x 248.10 each,
<br />applicant F. F. Eiger. Councilman Jones so moved approval of recommendation, seconded
<br />by Councilwoman Tinney and carried.

<br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED THAT CONSIDERATION BE GIVEN TO IMMEDIATE ACQUISITION OF Lot

<br />building permit on this lot. (Extension of Regent Street off Palm Avenue). Councilman
<br />Royer moved this be referred to the Real Estate Committee for a report back at the next
<br />regular meting, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried.
