Councilman Granger was of the opinon that mothers in the areas where school guards are needed might be recruited. Captain Faulstich stated that he did not have a recruiting problem. Councilman Granger suggested that the Police Department supervise an area, possibly at the Rodeo grounds, where boys could "explode" their cars and have "drag races" instead of -doing it all over town, Mayor Jones referred this matter to the Police Department. Councilman Royer moved that this be referred to the City Manager, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. City Engineer Jain stabd that this office has received a petition for sewers in the -Highlands of Emerald Lake Noe 4 area. One of the men in his office had written the petition and an error was found in that the petition called for sewers only and not water lines.
