This was followed by discussion after which Mr. Field <br />answered Councilman Grangers question to the effect that the lots facing the circle <br />will not be rezoned, Those lots would be the dividing line and still keep the houses <br />facing on the circle strictly residential. Councilman Spillers moved that the public <br />hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. The Clerk read the letter from <br />the Planning Commission and the motion carried. <br />Councilman Spillers moved acceptance of the Planning Commission's recommendation, <br />seconded by Councilman Jones. On the question, Councilman Granger asked if rest homes <br />would be allowed in the P-1 District. City Attorney Currie stated that they could be <br />allowed but only if the Planning Commission grants a Use Permit. Mr. Currie stated, <br />however, that in filing Deed of Restrictions, a "No Rest Home" condition could be <br />included thus protecting the home owners in the area. This condition was added to <br />the motion which carried on roll call. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE REGULATING FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS. Affidavit of publication was ordered filed. There being no protests, <br />written or oral, Councilman Royer moved close of public hearing, seconded by Councilman <br />Britschgi and carried.
