I <br />from Hudson Street and Central Avenue can not comply and thus do not warrant stopping traffic on Woodside <br />Road. This was followed by discussion after which Councilman Spillers moved to send the report back to the <br />State asking them to make another survey check. This motion lost for lack of a second. <br />Councilman Granger moved to carry this on the agenda for further consideration, seconded by Councilman Stout. <br />Captain Moudakas asked that the records show that the Police Department has had veW good relations and <br />full cooperation from the State. Motion carried. <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS APPROVAL OF "NO PARKING" ZONE WOODSIDE ROAD IN FRONT OF WASHINGTON SCHOOL, The Clerk <br />read the letter wherein State approval is given to establish the I'No Parking' Zone as per request. Council- <br />man Stout offered RESOLUTION 2008 ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONE ON PORTION OF WOODSIDE ROAD NEAR WASHINGTON <br />SCHOOL and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on roll call.. <br />VETERANS CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL OFFER FLAG FOR MEMORIAL BUILDING. It was decided by •the fourteen organizations <br />meeting in the Veterans Building on Warren and Standish Streets, that the secretary should write the <br />Redwood City Council, asking permission to donate an outside American Flag to the new Memorial Buildings <br />the Council to state the size of.the flag to be donated. Councilman Britschgi moved to turn this matter over <br />to the War Memorial Committee, their recommendation to be turned back to the Council, seconded by Councilman <br />Jones and carried. The Mayor asked that the letter be acknowledged. <br />Councilman Jones presented the Mayor with a gift from the Councilmen. The Mayor gave a short thanlo you speech and <br />acknowledged the pen set gift. , <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED COMPLETE ABANDONMENT OF PLAN LINES AN ROSE AVENUE. Councilman Spillers moved <br />that the public .hearing be set for three weeks, April 23rd, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED McCARTHY & SONS SUBDIVISION OF CERQUI LANDS. R-2 DISTRICT (EBENER STREET & <br />GENEVA AVENUE) SUBJECT TO 6000 SQ. FT. MINIMUM AND OTHER CONDITIONS. It was explained that this was a <br />tentative map and should not have been presented to the Council. Councilman Spillers moved to drop this <br />from the agenda, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />PIANNING COIuffSSIO14 RECOMMENDED R. KOHNE'S ROBELET SUBDIVISION (EBENER NEAR POPLAR). APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE MAP <br />SUBJECT TO MINIMUM 6000 SQ. FT. AND OTHER CONDITION. This was a tentative map only so Councilman Royer <br />moved that the matter be droped from the agenda, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CLARIFICATION OF FARM HILLS NO. 3 SUBDIVISION. SUBDIVIDER TO INSTALL SIDE'.4ALK, <br />CURB AND GUTTER ALONG JEFFERSON AVENUE IN FRONT OF SCHOOL PROPERTY IN FARM HILLS SUBDIVISION. Councilman <br />Stout moved approval of the Planning Commission's recommendation, seconded by Councilman Spillers and <br />carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />iED APPROVAL CARLOS AVENUE PLAN LINES FROM EL CAMINO REAL TO AND BEYOND ORCHARD <br />AVENUE TO CITY LIMITS. Councilman Spillers moved to set this for public hearing in two weeks, seconded by <br />Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL M. MOHR TO MOVE BUILDING FROM FRONT TO REAR AT 218 EL CAMINO REAL <br />SUBJECT TO BUILDING BEING MADE TO COMPLY WITH BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENT FOR FIRE ZONE NO. 1. Councilman <br />Spillers moved approval .of the Planning Commission's recommendation, seconded by Councilman Stout and <br />carried. <br />PIA NNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL WAYNE COURT SUBDIVISION (17th AVENUE NEAR FLORENCE STREET)', R-2 <br />DISTRICT. CHIEF LODI OBJECTED TO LONG CUL-DE-SAC. City Engineer Jain stated that this was a final map <br />but it hadn't been before the Engineering Department. Councilman Royer moved to refer this to the Engineer <br />Department, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED RECONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION OF V. PETRANCOSTA TO RESUBDIVIDE PORTION CF LOTS <br />5 & 6, BLOCK 28, OAK KNOLL MANOR (619 Canyon Road) 11U" DISTRICT. Approved subject to deed to City. <br />Councilman Granger moved to carry this on the a genda for three weeks, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. <br />The City Manager was to follow through on this matter as the Planning Commission failed to s end the <br />
