There is no way in which these bills <br />can be changed. Councilman Britschgi stated that this has*been considered by the Committee before <br />and they can not see any way in which to change the method. Motion carried. <br />BUILDING AND FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT ON PROPOSED EXTENSION FIRE ZONE NO. 1 ON SPRUCE STREET. The Clerk <br />read the following report: <br />"In reply to the Council's consideration of extending Fire Zone No. 1 on Spruce Street <br />properties from its present limits to the Southern Pacific right-of-way or farther, a <br />definite study should be undertaken. <br />Both;the Fire and Building Departments feel that feom this study a definite conclusion <br />would be reached as to the ultimate width of Spruce Street in conjunction with the <br />Highway system within the City Limits and from this inf ormation, Fire Zones could be established." <br />J J — <br />
