77 Councilman Britschgi asked that the matter of a possible stop sign at King Street and Brewster Avenue be turned over to the Traffic Fact Finding Committee for their recommendation. Councilman Britschgi stated that there were two lots in the vicinity of De Anza Street, which were or possibly are still owned by Mre Toffinellis whichp because,of the drainage and sewer situation, should be allowed to .;annex to San Carlos, This matter was referred to the City Manager. in the City for investigation purposes. He was of the opinion that in the future any such matters should be cleardd by the City Manager and he was merely calling,this to the attention of the Council. Councilman Spillers asked that the matter of a possible "Little League" ban park being developed be turned over to 1 the Park and Recreation Commission for consideration before budget time. He stated that there are so man 11114 league groups in existence now and there eight more teams about to be organized that they can not all fit on the same fields especially with the adult league games also using the field. He stated that the State was going to put in an overhead signal at San Antonio Road. The Mayor announced that there would be a study meeting on Thursday., February 16th., in regarding to parking of Veterans Memorial Building. The City Clerk stated that Scotty Wood requested permission to allow his Scout Troup to paint house numbers in Friendly Acres. Councilman Stout moved approval of request subject to checking with the City Engineers seconded by,Councilman Royer and carried. Mayor.Herkner introduced Mr. Le A. Kimballs Assistant to City Managere Mayor Herkner, asked for the Recreation Foundation report. Councilman Royer stated that Councilman Jones was the chairman and he would like to wait for Councilman Jones to make the report.
