Lodip Fire Department <br />35 year pin: Clyde Genochio., Police Department <br />Continuation of public hearing on the resolution of intention by the Planning Commission to amend Section 4.2 of <br />Ordinance No. 600 so that Official Plan Lines for the extension of Northumberland and Madrone Streets from the <br />terminus of Madrone Street to the centerline of Boicelli Avenue and from the present terminus! of Northumber- <br />land to the proposed extension of Madrone Street may be established. The public hearing was declared open. <br />There being no further protestsp written or oral. The Planning Staff requested that these proceedings be term- <br />inated,9 and this entire area handled as one when the report now being prepared on Carlos Avenue and vicinityv <br />has been completed. Councilman Fields moved that J;he public hearing be closed$ seconded by Councilman Stehle <br />and carried. Councilman Rosselli moved that the proceedings be terminated (MINUTE ORDER #60-189).. seconded <br />by Councilman Fields and carried. <br />Continuation of public hearing.. Edgewood Annexation 1-0. The public hearing was declared open. There being no <br />protests, written or oral$ Councilman Herkner moved to continue the public hearing to October 10th., seconded <br />by Councilman Stehle and carried. <br />Continuation of public hearing on ADAMS STREET CULVERT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT. The public hearing was declared open. <br />The Clerk read a petition signed by three property owners withdrawing their protests: Marguerite P. Gisiger <br />and Mrs. Freda Gisiger., 1177 Adams Street; M. A. Ferrels 1169 Adams Street; and Vivtor L. Pinottis 1161 Adams <br />Street. The Engineering Department reported that the withdrawal of these three property owners was not suf- <br />ficient <br />ufficient to bring the number of protests below the 50% mark. The protest petition carried signatures repres- <br />enting 85,910 square feet out of a possible 130$97.1 square feet$, or 65.62% objecting. This was followed by <br />discussion after which Councilman Stehle moved that the public hearing be closedt seconded by Councilman <br />Herkner and carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 3190 TERMINATING PROCEEDINGS., ADAMS STREET CULVERT, sec- <br />onded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll calls Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted <br />absent and Councilman Fields abstaining because he was not present at the time of the public hearing. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS. The public hearing was declared open and the affidavits of posting, <br />publication and mailing were ordered filed. A letter from Louis Mandolfos assessment #24., asked for pro- <br />tection to his fence caused by people backing out of their driveways. The City Engineer had investigated <br />and reflectors were installed on his fence and "Dead End Street# sign was erected to try to assist in his <br />problem. Mr. A. P. Regnier^s 458 Park Street, praised the Engineering Department and the contractor for the <br />way in which the job was handled. Councilman Fields moved that the public hearing be closeds seconded by <br />Councilman Rosselli and carried. <br />11 <br />L� <br />r� <br />
