L� <br />Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 3191 <br />17 <br />ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM <br />AND OVER -RULING PROTESTS, PARK STREET IUFROVEMENTS, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried unanimously <br />on roll call, Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted absent. <br />The Contractor for the -Park Street Improvements has completed all work in accordance *ith plans and <br />specifications for the project. The City Engineer recommends that these improvements be accepted subject <br />to correction of arty defects in materials and workmanship which might appear within one year from date <br />of acceptance by the City Council. Councilman Herkner moved to accept the work subject to the correction <br />of defects in materials and workmanship appearing within one year (MINUTE ORDER #60-190), seconded by <br />Councilman Fields and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON, RESOLUTION CF INTENTION N0. 3183 TO MODIFY AND AMEND PROCEEDINGS UNDER RESOLUTION NO. 3072, <br />REGENT STREET EXTENSION. -The public hearing was declared open and the affidavit of publication was <br />ordered filed. There being no protests, written or oral, Councilman Fields moved that the public hear- <br />ing be closed, seconded by Councilman Stehle and carried. <br />• Coum ilman Fields moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 3192 ORDERING MODIFICATION AND AMENDMENT OF PROCEED- <br />INGS UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 3072 (REGENT STREET EXTENSION?$ seconded by Councilman Stehle <br />and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted absent. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON REPORT AND ASSESSMENT FOR WEED ABATEMENT. The public hearing was declared open. The re- <br />port of Street Superintendent and proposed assessment list was reedived and filed. The affidavit of <br />posting and publication was received and filed. There were no written protests. Councilman Herkner <br />raised the question as to whether or not the individual property owners were notified of the proposed <br />assessment. He was informed they were not and the reasons wby. This was followed by discussion after <br />which Councilman Fields moved to close the public hearing, seconddd by Councilman Stehle and carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 3193 CONFIRMING, REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT 'OF STREETS <br />ON WEED ABATEMENT AND AUTHORIZING DELIVERY CP REPORT TO CITY TAX COLLECTOR FOR THE ADDITION Cr THE <br />ASSESSMENT AMOUNTS TO NEXT REGULAR TAX BILIS AGAINST PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED, seconded by Councilman <br />Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted absent. <br />REPORT ON SIGN ORDINANCE. Councilman Rosselli outlined why the committee was appointed and the action and <br />meetings they <br />have attended to <br />date. Councilmen Herkner and Stehle were the two other members <br />on the <br />Sign Committee <br />to review this <br />ordinance. The Committee recommends that certain changes be made <br />in the <br />ordinance being introduced and that the ordinance go back to the City Attorney to be redrafted and then <br />studied by the Committee. Councilman Rosselli movedto continue the Sign ordinance to October 17th, <br />seconded by Councilman Stehle and carried. <br />Councilman Fields moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 600.117 AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 6000 THE ZONING ORDINANCE, <br />TO REZCNE CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM R-1 DISTRICT to R-3 DISTRICT (rear portion of Lot 21, <br />Valota Park, 1240 Woodside Road), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call, <br />Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted absent. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, SELF-PROPELLED TRAFFIC LINE MARKER. The following bids were received& <br />Edward R. Bacon, M -B Model "Super 1011 self propelled Traffic Line Marker $5,174.00 <br />Mark -A -Line, Inc., Sausalito, "Coast Apparatus Standard" $5,880.00 <br />It was recommended that the low bid of Edward R. Bacon Company be accepted and all other bids be re- <br />jected. Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3194 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF <br />SELF-PROPELLED TRAFFIC LINE MARKER; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED, seconded by Councilman Fields <br />and carried unanimously on roll call., Councilmen Granger and Royer being noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO INITIATE ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS, °ODDSTAD ANNEXATION N0. 111.
