22
Ingge case of Ford Elliott, who has worked for the City for over ten years and put in
hours over the last twelve month period, it is recommended that he be granted
10 days accumulated vacation leave as of August 1, 1960, and that, beginning with July
1, he be allowed to accumulate vacation, sick, and disability leave for each month (or
each 168 hours) worked.
Councilman Rosselli moved to instruct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary documents (MINUTE ORDER
#60-200), seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
Councilman Fieldq moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO, 3204 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF
REDWOOD CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION W OUTSTANDING TAXES THEREON, seconded by
Councilman Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Granger being noted absent.
The Three parcels are as follows:
0.14 ac MOL N1y corner of Lenolt Sub., Acreage Redwood City '
Lot 15, Embarcadero S ubdivision
5.01 ac MOL adjacent to Stulsaft Park
PETITION REQUESTING CHANGE FROM ONE HOUR TO TWO HOUR PARKING METERS ON EAST SIDE OF EL CAMIIdO REAL BETWEEN
BROADWAY AND BRERSTER.AVENUE. Since there are
five taverns on this block the Traffic Bureau felt that the change to a two hour parking
limit would be of benefit to the taverns at the expense of the other business establish-
ments, and thereis a parking lot to the rear.
Originally Mr. Weiner made a request to eliminate parking meters altogether, but it was
pointed out that commuters and tavern customers would usurp the available parking to the
detriment of the other business establishments.
Copncilman Royer moved to uphold the Traffic Bureau's recommendation and deny the request (MINUTE ORDER
#60-201)', seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously, Councilman Granger bding noted absent.
Recommendation of the Planning Commission on their resolution of intention to amend Section 4.1 of Ordinance No.
600 to rezone from a '"Uif,Unclassified District, to an R -1-B-2 District, minimum of 20,000 square foot
dots, property known as "Sequoia Terrace Annexation".
