The public
hearing was declared open and the affidavit of notice ordered filed. The Planning Commission found, the
following facts: e
. , 1. There are numerous rights-of-way in Redwood City that are unimproved and in some cases not recogni-
zable as public right -of way.
2. Some dedicated unimproved alleys and streets are being recognized as access for vehicles to indi-
vidual parcels of land.
3. During and after stormy weather the Commission b elieves it is questionable that vehicles can be
placed on their designated parking spaces or garages as required by certain sections of the existing
zoning ordinance.
The Planning Commission recommends the following: The necessary sections be added to Ordinance No. 600
so that garages, carports and/or garage spaces are always accessible from improved streets or alleys.
