Building Inspector Kreiss brought up the subject of a Redwood City Business Licende which should be required <br />of the house movers. His attention was called to the existing ordinance which requires the mover to <br />obtain a local license. , <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE FINAL MAP OF THE PRICE TRACT, sub— <br />ject to the following conditions: <br />a. A•11 charges <br />for engineering, inspection,. <br />laboratory, and field <br />testing, water supply, etc. shall <br />be paid by <br />the subdivider within ten days <br />after billing by the <br />City Collector. <br />b. All construction within Redwood Creek to be completed prior to October 13, 1960• <br />r <br />This subdivision is on the northerly side of Redwood Avenue between Reese and Hudson Streets. <br />i <br />Councilman Granger moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept deed from Louis A. and Clara Be Behrens <br />conveying certain property required for the widening of Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street, at such time <br />+i <br />as the building permit is issued for the construction of the Lucky Market at this location, seconded <br />by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED JONES COURT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, per Resolution of Intention No. 3120 adopted by <br />the City Council on June 27, 1950. The hearing was declared open; the affidavits of publication and <br />posting of notice of improvements and the affidavit of mailing notice on hearing on Engineer's report <br />were ordered filed. <br />Letters of protest were received from Mrs. Evelyn Caccia, 1076 — 8th Avenue (Assessment No. 1) and from <br />Robert H. Wood, 1064 — 8th Avenue (Assessment No. 2), Mr- Wood also appeared personally to inquire <br />about property acquisition for this improvement and the method of arriving at the amount of the assess— <br />ment. Both Mr. Wood and Mrs. Caccia indicated that they were not Apposed to having this street put <br />' through.
