G. E.for an increase <br />in rates which would mean an increase to the average householder of approximately 20% in their gas <br />costs. The'Librarian is making a detailed study of the needs, resources, and <br />growth of the area, and will report in detail to the Library Board at the September meeting. <br />The City Manager was requested to expedite action in this matter as much as possible. <br />LETTER FROM FERRIS MILES, Parage Chairman of the July 4th Parade, thanking various City Departments for <br />their assistance and cooperation, was read. <br />FILO CORPORATION REQUEST FOR A 90 day extension for the completion of the improvement of a portion of the <br />w <br />public alley between Adams Street and Clinton Street, Block 10, Robinson Subdivision, was read. After <br />discussion of the reasons for the request, it was moved by Councilman Rosselli that an extension of <br />w <br />30 days be granted, subject -to consent of the bonding Company, seconded by Councilman Granger and car- <br />ried.
