Obviously
cost considerations and long term maintenance issues must be factored into the site design. Our work
will include urban design services such as hardscape design, fine grading, site lighting layout, irrigation
and planting design, as well as site security and fencing.

Design Phase
During the design phase, we will meet with the team and develop site design concepts for each area of
the site. We will visit the site and gather information about the existing conditions on as well as
adjacent to the site. We will familiarize ourselves with the specific site context and physical elements
including paving, trees, plants and existing irrigation. We will meet with staff for discussion of the
project needs and an exchange of ideas. Typically, we produce hand sketched site plan concepts for
review and comment by the team at this level. We will refine our drawings and produce color rendered
plans for presentation to the post office and City. Upon their review, we will make one series of
revisions as needed to comply with comments and conditions of approval. We anticipate 3 staff level
meetings and 2 presentations during this phase.

Construction Documents (CD)
Upon approval of the design phase, we will begin the CD phase. The documents will be prepared in
Autocad using a sheet format compatible with the architect's plans. We anticipate providing a series of
documents for all the site area as noted. The total sheet number depends on scale and sheet size.
Anticipated DrawinGs
LO Series Overall Landscape Site Plan, Tree Protection Plan
L 1 " Hardscape Layout and fencing Plans and Details
L2 " Irrigation Plans and Details
L3 " Planting Plans and Details
Specifications in CSI format for our Division 2 related work.

Bidding and Construction Phases
After completion of the CD phase we will assist during the bidding phase and into the actual
construction of the works. We will make necessary site visits followed by a brief field report to verify the
work is being installed to our specification. Record Documents will be provided in electronic file at the
end of the project.

T
