In response to question with regard to full response to the letter of December 19, 1986 from the former Director of Public Works to Brian Kangas Foulk & Associates, City Engineer Schroedl said that construction plans and specifications for the pump station and storm drain line were approved by the Engineering Division, but that he cannot make any further response without reviewing the file. City Attorney Schricker confirmed that the subject property is inland from the area under BCDC (Bay Conservation and Development Commission) jurisdiction, noting that the Army Corps of Engineers has jurisdiction over the wetlands area and possible other additional authority. Both agencies were notified of illegal filling of part of the subject property by copies of the September 11, 1986 letter from former Community Development Director Schroeter wherein he ordered the property owner to cease and desist from all fill activity on property on East Bayshore Road.
