<br />Service Objectives <br /> <br />For this project, where Fukuji Planning & Design is working with <br />City staff to shape an appropriate response to the proposed project, <br />we see our role, contribution and service objectives are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Provide independent leadership on land use rq;uÙltOl)' and urban design <br />solutions to advance and advocate for the highest standards <br />of excellence and sensitivity in land use planning and urban <br />design. <br /> <br />2. Ensure that the concerns and oþinions ~l CilJ' stqO; the project <br />applicant and their architects, public officials, the <br />community of users and the residents of the local <br />neighborhood are seroed to achieve communitY mponsive solutions. <br /> <br />3. Identffj' and prioriti::e the essential measuresJòr jmdect success based <br />on (1) and (2) above. <br /> <br />4. Provide innovative andflexible urban des/;!."" options and strategies <br />to enhance the proposed project over the project's <br />implementation time horizon. <br /> <br />5. Communicate dJèctive[p to facilitate consensus on prqject design issues <br />and when conflicting interests arise, negotiate on the City's <br />behalf to achieve project success. <br /> <br />6.
