Councilman Britschgi asked the City Manager for a status report on various <br />redevelopment projects. <br />Michael Church, Housing Director, reported that the City has active Exclusive <br />Rights to Negotiate on three of the redevelopment sub -areas - Marina, Centre <br />and Gateway. He gave a brief report on the status of each and noted that <br />a written report on the status of the three projects will be presented to <br />Council in February. <br />5. Mayor Claire referred to Council's instructions that he communicate with the <br />Mayor of Atherton regarding flooding problems in the Fifth Avenue <br />neighborhood of Redwood City. He noted that the response from the Mayor of <br />Atherton was distributed to all the Council and they have asked that Redwood <br />City make another presentation to their Council regarding the problem. <br />memo 1/13/87 <br />6. Mayor Claire referred to correspondence from the San Mateo Health Commission <br />asking for nominations of candidates to serve on the San Mateo Health <br />Commission. Proposed renaming of Marine World Parkway (203-13) <br />Report: Planning Commission and Community Development <br />Director transmitted December 18, 1986. <br />City Manager Smith reported that the Planning Commission suggested the <br />following five names to the City Council for their selection of a street name <br />change for Marine World Parkway: <br />1. Brendan McGuire Parkway <br />2. McGuire Parkway <br />3. Marine Parkway <br />4. Ohlone Parkway <br />5.
