Division of Industrial Safety of the State of California, the plan shall be prepared and signed by <br />a registered civil or structural engineer: Nothing in this requirement shall be deemed to allow <br />the use of shoring, sloping, or protective systems less effective than that required by the <br />Construction Safety Order. Nothing in this requirement shall be construed to impose tort liability <br />on the City Or any of its employees. <br /> <br /> e. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to permit work not <br /> <br />conforming to the latest edition of the aforementioned codes, laws, regulations, and standards. <br /> <br /> f. Any material or workmanship specified by reference to the number, <br /> <br />symbol, or title of a specific standard, such as a Commercial Standard, a Federal Specification, <br />a Trade Association Standard, or other similar standards, shall comply with the requirements in <br />the latest revision thereof, and any amendments or supplements thereto, in effect on the date of <br />the application for the building permit, except as limited to type, class or grade, or modification <br />in such reference. The standard referred to, except as otherwise specifically modified herein, <br />shall have full force and effect as though printed in the Contract Documents or attached thereto. <br /> <br /> g. It is required that materials, products, processes, equipment, or the like <br /> <br />be installed or applied in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions, directions, or <br />specifications, or words to this effect, unless otherwise noted. Said application or installation <br />shall be in strict accordance with the printed instructions furnished by the manufacturer of the <br />material concerned, for use under conditions similar to those at the Project site. <br /> <br /> h.
