discrepancies to the City prior to the start of Work. The City assumes no responsibility for any <br />conclusions or interpretations made by the DB based on the information provided by the City. <br /> <br /> E. Where the DB's Work is associated with that of another contractor retained by <br /> <br />the City, the DB shall examine the preceding or adjacent work and report in writing to the City <br />any visible defect or condition preventing the proper execution of the Work. If the DB proceeds <br />without giving notice, the DB shall be held to have accepted the work or material, and the <br />existing conditions, and shall be responsible for any defects in its own Work consequent <br />thereon. The DB shall not be relieved of any obligation or guarantee because of such condition <br />or imperfection. The DB shall include this provision in any and all Subcontracts where such a <br />conflict could exist. <br /> <br /> F. Should any existing utilities or services be disturbed, disconnected, or damaged <br /> <br />during construction, the DB shall be responsible, at no additional cost to the City, for all <br />expenses of whatever nature arising from such disturbance or the replacement or repair thereof <br />and shall repair such items as required to maintain continuing service, including emergency <br />repairs. <br /> <br /> G. If any traces of archeological resources, i.e., human remains, artifacts, or <br />concentrations of shell/bone/rock/ash, are encountered at the Project site, the DB shall <br />immediately stop all construction operations within a 164 foot radius until a City approved <br />archeologist has been consulted and has recommended mitigation. <br /> <br /> 2(b)2 General Responsibilities <br /> <br /> a.
