The key freeway <br /> r segments to be analyzed are: <br /> <br /> r (1) US 101, Redwood Shores Parkway/Holly Street to Whipple Avenue (northbound and <br /> r southbound), <br /> <br /> r (2) US 101, Whipple Avenue to Woodside Road/Seaport Boulevard (northbound and <br /> r southbound), and <br /> <br /> r (3) US 101, Woodside Road/Seaport Boulevard to Marsh Road/Bayfront Expressway <br /> r (northbound and southbound). <br /> <br /> Traffic Analysis Assumptions. The follOWing assumptions have been applied by Fehr & Peers <br /> in the preparation of this EIR work scope and budget estimate: <br /> <br /> · City staff will review the work scope and any changes will be made prior to Fehr & Peers <br /> Associates beginning work; <br /> <br /> · City staff will provide a list of approved and planned developments in the project area <br /> and vicinity for use in the cumulative traffic and circulation analysis; <br /> <br /> · Wagstaff and Associates, in consultation with City staff, will provide the necessary <br /> quantitative project description and breakdowns (residential units and types, commercial <br /> square footages and types) for the consolidated "project" at buildout; <br /> <br /> · Available data from previous traffic studies will be obtained, including from the existing <br /> movie theater complex and recent traffic counts for the relevant segments of US 101; <br /> and <br /> <br /> · Anticipated traffic volumes from approved (but not yet constructed) developments will be <br /> provided by City staff, as will estimated occupancies for the existing residential units on <br /> the Bair Island Road project site, and relevant information on funded near-term roadway <br /> improvements. <br /> <br /> 1. Data Collection/Field Reconnaissance. The physical characteristics of the Bair Island <br /> Road project site and the surrounding roadway network will be reviewed during a site visit to <br /> identify existing roadway cross-sections, intersection lane configurations, traffic control <br /> devices, surrounding land uses, and the locations of pedestrian, bicycle, and transit facilities. <br /> <br />r *Designates intersections which require analysis with the Blomquist Street E~ension <br /> <br /> wP $11622~M ISC~O013-2.EXA <br /> <br /> <br />
