Item No. 4 (continued) <br />In response to question, Mr. Schricker said that if the resolution is <br />proposed to be adopted, then the property owner would have 30 days in which <br />to repair the building and bring it up to minimal standards; that if 30 -day <br />continuance is granted, the hearing should be left open so that testimony <br />may be taken from the Building Official with regard to completion of <br />repairs; and that if the resolution is adopted and the repairs are not <br />completed within 30 days, but that satisfactory progress has taken place, <br />then the Building Official may recommend withholding demolition. <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at <br />9:15 p.m. <br />Title read.
