Item No. 4 (continued) In response to question, Mr. Schricker said that if the resolution is proposed to be adopted, then the property owner would have 30 days in which to repair the building and bring it up to minimal standards; that if 30 -day continuance is granted, the hearing should be left open so that testimony may be taken from the Building Official with regard to completion of repairs; and that if the resolution is adopted and the repairs are not completed within 30 days, but that satisfactory progress has taken place, then the Building Official may recommend withholding demolition.
