Item No. 2 (continued) <br />Janice Greppi (see above) suggested inadequate notice had been given to <br />property owners for protests and inquired as to the assessed valuation <br />of her property. Mayor Claire read the following from the Notice of <br />Public Hearing and other materials mailed to all property owners on March <br />23, 1987: "6. Any owner of land within the territory proposed to be <br />annexed may file a written protest against the proposal with the City <br />Clerk at any time prior to the commencement of the hearing on the <br />proposal." Mrs. Greppi was told the assessed value of her property, as <br />provided by the County Assessor's Office, is $226,258.00. <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone else who wished to speak to do so.
