Public Hearing - Proposed vacation of public utility <br />easement across a portion of Lot 3, Block 2 Friend <br />Industrial Tract (per RESOLUTION NO. 10543 6/22/87; <br />Community Development Director Report 6/1/87) (702 -10) <br />Affidavits of Publication of Notice of Hearing and of Posting are on file. <br />Assistant City Engineer Schroed l presented the subject item using o verhea <br />project i ons . <br />Mayor Claire declared the public hearing open at 10:25 p.m. and invited <br />anyone present who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. <br />M /S: Bury /LaBerge to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 10:26 P.M. <br />Title read. M/S : Bury /L aBer ge <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10557 VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (FRIEND INDUSTRIAL <br />TRACT) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREET AND HIGHWAY CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />12. There being no objection, Mayor Claire ordered that item 12. relating to the <br />proposed adoption of an ordinance which includes regul ati on of fences be <br />considered out of order at this time in response to requests of members of <br />the audi ence. <br />Jack Osl an, 1140 Redwood, owner of a corner lot which is being sold said he <br />understands that his presently illegal fence will be able to be made legal <br />following adoption of the subject ordinance. Mr. Osl an said that the sale of <br />the property is contingent upon his fence being permitted and that he <br />proposes to make it six feet high and decorative.
