Item No. 4 (continued) Page 3 <br />Stanton Cohn, 844 West California, Woodside, neighbor to the subject <br />property, said that his corner of Jefferson has heavy traffic with <br />accompanying potential hazards which could be increased by development of the <br />property. Mr. Cohn urged that the rural atmosphere of Mr. Walker's property <br />be retained for the area and suggested that there might be problems regarding <br />drainage and sewage if it is developed. Mr. Cohn also opposed street lights <br />in the area. <br />City Manager Smith stated that if any such problems exist they would be <br />expected to be addressed at the appropriate hearings on the proposed planned <br />development itself. <br />In response to question, Planning Director Patterson reported that there has <br />been no proposal from any public or private agency to purchase the subject <br />site for open space. <br />Vice Mayor Chandler invited anyone else preseent who wished to speak to do <br />so.
