Item No. 2 (continued) <br />M /S: Britschgi /Bury to approve granting of a Building Moving Permit to Marc <br />Watson to allow a building to be moved from 109 Wilson Street to 599 Cedar <br />Street with the following conditions recommended by staff and the findings <br />listed below: <br />Conditions: <br />1. The Police Department and Traffic Engineer shall approve the proposed <br />moving plan, including the date, time, route, traffic control, <br />lighting, and elimination of parking. <br />2. The applicant shall deposit fees to cover the cost of providing city <br />personnel to facilitate the building move. <br />3. The applicant shall obtain an architectural permit in accordance with <br />Article 45 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />4. The applicant shall secure building permits for the new foundation, <br />proposed alterations, and new detached carport. <br />5. The applicant shall test and repair as necessary the gas, water, <br />waste and vent, and electrical systems. Repairs shall be made as <br />outlined in the September 26, 1986, memo from Dave Pedersen to John <br />LaTorra, and as further necessary to bring the building into <br />compliance with the Uniform Housing Code. <br />6. A structural pest control inspection report shall be submitted to the <br />Building Division. All items noted by the licensed pest control <br />agency shall be repaired. <br />7. All foundation material shall be removed and the property at 109 <br />Wilson Street shall be graded to its near level condition. <br />8. The applicant shall submit a minimum $1,000 bond to assure compliance <br />with the terms of the moving permit. <br />9. The permit shall be valid for a maximum period of six months. <br />10. Any additional conditions which the council may impose to protect the <br />public health, safety, and general welfare. <br />Find ings: <br />1. That the granting of the permit pursuant to Article III of Chapter <br />9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City will not, under the <br />circumstances of this particular case, be detrimental to the public <br />welfare or injurious to property or improvements in that the <br />conditions of the permit provide the least inconvenience to the <br />public and provide for public safety; and, further, that relocation <br />and maintenance of the building provide an economic means for <br />retaining and restoring necessary housing within the City. <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 86 -193 <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />10/13/86 <br />Page 3 MINUTE BOOK NO. 46 <br />Page No. 419 <br />
