Public Hearing - Notice of Intention to Terminate <br />Sanitary Sewerage Services - Bay Area Circuits, 91 <br />Winslow Street. (1206 -04) <br />Report: Public Works Director 12/2/86 <br />City Attorney Schricker advised that the hearing is being held in accordance <br />with Sec. 27.156 of the City Code which relates to violations of sanitary <br />sewerage discharge. He requested that those persons who are going to testify <br />be sworn. <br />The following people were sworn in by the Recording Secretary: Frank <br />Addiego, James Bewley, Ken Kaufman, Ray Nobriga and Boon Lim. <br />Frank Addieqo, Public Works Director, referred to his report regarding the <br />termination of sanitary sewerage services to the Bay Area Circuits for <br />violations of Chapter 27 of the Redwood City Code regarding high copper and <br />lead content being discharged into the sewerage system. <br />James Bewley,, Manager, South Bayside System Authority, 10 Radio Road, <br />reviewed the violations, limits established by the Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board and the U. S. Government, comparisons of other industrial <br />companies regarding violations, continued violations by Bay Area Circuits and <br />explained their methods of sampling. <br />In response to question regarding Council's options, City Attorney Schricker <br />advised the Council could: <br />1. order immediate termination of service; <br />2.
