�,/,F-Z2 <br /> construction package rise above CM/GC's estimates or the proposed Project Budget, CM/GC <br /> shall, as outlined in the Preconstruction Scope of Services, provide value-engineering <br /> recommendations and cost estimates and constructability analysis of options provided by <br /> Architect to complete all phases within the Project Budget. <br /> 2.1.3 Reserved. <br /> 2.1.4 Schedules <br /> .1 CM/GC will work with the City/Agency to prepare a Project Schedule. The <br /> Project Schedule shall specify the proposed finish dates for design, securing permits and <br /> approvals, prequalification, bid, and award activities for each Trade Contract, material <br /> purchases, and submittals for each Trade Contract. CM/GC shall submit the Project Schedule <br /> to the City/Agency for review and acceptance. CM/GC shall revise the Project Schedule as the <br /> City/Agency may request, and as agreed upon by CM/GC. <br /> .2 CM/GC shall develop a Milestone Construction Schedule for the Project, subject <br /> to approval by City/Agency, which shall contain key milestones to be accomplished by Trade � <br /> Contractors as well as final completion of the Project. The Milestone Construction Schedule will <br /> be incorporated into the bid documents and subsequent contracts with successful bidders. <br /> 2.1.5 Construction Manaqement Coordination Constructabilitv and Value Enaineerinq <br /> Review. CM/GC shall perform constructability and vatue engineering reviews, provide written <br /> reports to City/Agency regarding the coordination and constructability of the design documents, <br /> and written recommendations regarding proposed value engineering changes. <br /> 2.1.6 No Desiqn Liabilitv CM/GC is not a design professional and will not be providing <br /> professional design or engineering services for the Project. All suggestions, constructability <br /> review comments, or value engineering proposals prepared or submitted by CM/GC shall be <br /> reviewed by City/Agency's independent design professionals and engineers to ascertain <br /> feasibility, satisfaction of the design concept, compatibility and compliance with applicable laws, <br /> statutes, ordinances, building codes, rules, regulations, and professional standards of care. In <br /> performing its obligations under this contract, it is not CM/GC's ultimate responsibility to <br /> ascertain that Contract Documents are in accordance with applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, <br /> building codes, and rules and regulations.
