� ,l.fi--3/ <br /> .2 CM/GC shall evaluate Trade Contractors' change order proposals for entitlement <br /> and amount and make a written recommendation to Architect and City/Agency regarding the <br /> acceptance of any proposal for a change order. <br /> 2.3.17 Neqotiations of Chanqe Order Costs and Time Extensions. CM/GC shall assist <br /> City/Agency and Architect in negotiating any change order costs and time extensions. <br /> 2.3.18 As-Built Documents. CM/GC shall coordinate, supervise and expedite the Trade <br /> Contractor's obligation to provide "as-builY' documents and make recommendations to Architect <br /> for adequate withholding of retention in the event that a Trade Contractor fails to provide <br /> acceptable "as-builY' documents. <br /> 2.3.19 Initial Start-up and Testinq. With Architect and City/Agency's maintenance personnel, <br /> CM/GC shall coordinate the Trade Contractors' final testing, start-up and commissioning for the <br /> Project. <br /> 2.3.20 Training Sessions. CM/GC shall coordinate and schedule training sessions for <br /> City/Agency's personnel and shall require that each Trade Contractor's obligation in providing <br /> this training is fulfilled before release of retention. <br /> 2.3.21 Accounting Records. CM/GC shall, in conjunction with City/Agency, establish and <br /> administer an appropriate Project accounting system, and shall maintain cost accounting <br /> records on authorized work pertormed under unit costs, additional work performed on the basis <br /> of pre-negotiated costs of labor and materials, or other work requiring accounting records. <br /> 2.3.22 Utilities/Permits. CM/GC shall assist Architect and City/Agency in obtaining all <br /> necessary permits and utility installations for the Project, including but not limited to, <br /> building/utility, grading, and occupancy permits. This task may encompass accompanying <br /> governmental officials during inspections, assisting in preparing and submitting proper <br /> documentation to the appropriate approving agencies, assisting in final testing and other <br /> necsssary and reasonable activities. <br /> 2.3.23 Reserved. <br /> Atty/Ag r/2005.003 <br /> 030805/L.Beck/607588v7 Page 29 of 30 <br />
