Item No. 10 (continued) Discussion followed regarding the recommendations of the Committee, with a correction noted by Mr. Addiego in the first recommendation (see motion below) . M /S: Mosher /Bury to accept the Committee's recommendations No. 1 as corrected and No. 2 as follows: 1. A stop sign should be installed on Melrose at Blandford / Edgewood Road; 2. Stop signs on the approaches of Copley at Arlington should be relocated to stop Arlington instead of Copely. Carried by the following roll call vote: Ayes: Bury, Chandler, Mosher and Mayor Britschgi Noes: Rhodes and Stangel MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -110 M /S: Chandler /Stangel to adopt a resolution recommending to CALTRANS either a study, or the installation if necessary of a stop light system at Edgewood Road and E1 Camino Real. M /S: Mosher/ to ask the City Manager to contact other cities to see what they are doing with regard to a traffic commission, and report back to Council with a recommendation. Motion died for lack of a second. M /S: Chandler /Stangel to refer the proposal of a Traffic Commission to the Planning Commission for consideration and recommendation in conjunction with the Circulation Element of the General Plan.
