(continued) <br />M /S: Chandler /Bury to withhold action on the subject item until January 28, <br />1985, pending receipt of answers to questions regarding: 1) whether there is <br />a specific limit on the amount of mortgage revenue bonds which can be issued <br />by the City and the State; 2) what the effect of increasing the amount of <br />bonds issued for the Paragon development might be on the City's ability to <br />issue more of the bonds for similar developments in the future; and 3) <br />whether there is any effect on the number of units or the rental rates at <br />which they will be offered to low /moderate income tenants, if the amount of <br />mortgage revenue bonds is increased as requested. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -07 <br />Nita Spanqler, 970 Edgewood Road, noted that addresses and names of property <br />owners are not both provided on the Agenda for items 3., 4., 5. and 6. and <br />requested that such information be included in the future. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />6. Amendment to Slope Maintenance and Water Quality <br />Control agreement (Paragon) (702 -02) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 1/16/85 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego stated that the original agreement provided <br />for maintenance of the slope and water quality in connection with the Paragon <br />development in Redwood Shores and that the proposed amendment merely spells <br />out specifically what is required. Mr. Addiego reported that Paragon and <br />City staff are in agreement as to what is being required and noted that <br />monitoring of maintenance is facilitated by establishing specifics. <br />City Attorney Schricker confirmed that the amendment provides specifics and <br />read details related to water quality and slope maintenance. <br />Jeremy Fletcher, Project Manager, Paragon Point, 707 Wilshire Boulevard, Los <br />Angeles, said that in anticipation of closing agreements on the project later <br />this week, it is necessary to have the developer's obligations spelled out in <br />order to set up a maintenance program the City will approve. <br />Title read.
