Item No. 3 (continued) <br />Director of Public Works Addiego commented on the meetings with residents <br />concerning correction of traffic problems in the neighborhoods and referred <br />to transparencies and overlays to indicate the kind of improvements proposed. <br />Mr. Addiego replied to questions and commented concerning details of the <br />recommendations, noting that some 30 -35 residents were involved and they <br />appear to be pleased with staff recommendations. <br />Police Chief Guardino said that the number of citations given recently in the <br />area suggest there is a speeding problem on the street. <br />Pat Gamberq, 1588 Alameda, responded to the request for comments from <br />residents, stating that she believes neighbors support the staff <br />recommendations to improve the traffic situation. Mrs. Gamberg commented on <br />her experience with accidents and property damage to automobiles and homes. <br />M /S: Claire /Mosher to approve implementation of the staff recommendations <br />for improvement of Alameda de las Pulgas from Woodside Road to Jefferson <br />Avenue as described in the City Manager's Report of February 11, 1985 with <br />funds for doing so to come from budgeted reserves. <br />The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -28 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />4.
