Item No. 3 (continued) <br />Discussion and questioning of Mr. Bandov by Council followed, regarding the <br />fact that there are tenants living on the premises under hazardous <br />conditions, and what Mr. Bandov's intentions are to correct those <br />conditions; that Mr. Bandov had purchased through a real estate agent and <br />should have been aware that the property was subject to this action; that Mr. <br />Bandov indicated his business is as a general contractor, and that he owns <br />other property, and whether he therefore should be familiar with what is <br />considered substandard buildings. <br />Mayor Britschgi invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. Mobilehome Rent Stabilization Committee Report and <br />Recommendations <br />In view of the large audience present in the interest of the subject agenda <br />item, Mayor Britschgi outlined the procedure that will be followed, beginning <br />with presention of the Committee's report, to be followed by comments by the <br />mobilehome owners, and then by the mobilehome parks owners. He noted that <br />the Council has received volumes of material over the past several weeks on <br />the subject, and believed that Council understands the issues. <br />Councilman Chandler, Chairman of the Mobi lehome Rent Stabilization Committee, <br />presented the report of the Committee dated April 12, 1985, which recommends <br />approval of a resolution endorsing the fair rent compromise as follows: <br />1. Five -year lease program for mobilehome residents. <br />2. Establishment of the Intra -Park Mediation Committee in each mobilehome <br />park. <br />3.
