ADDITION TO MOTION: on the recommendation of City Attorney Schricker, and with the consent of the maker of the motion and the second, the following findings were added to the Motion: 1. that the proposed addition is for the purpose of providing a residential facility for six or fewer persons; 2. that State law and current provisions in the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance consistent therewith prohibit designation of or regulation of residential property for such use inconsistent with other permitted residential uses in the same zoning district; 3. the proposed use is in compliance with the use requirement of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; 4. improper construction techniques were ceased upon order of Redwood City, and all construction ceased pending this appeal, and such matters are under the administrative jurisdiction of the Building Official; 5. the proposed addition is in compliance with the building and zoning regulations as to structural integrity, location, size, and lot coverage; and 6. the architectural design and features of the proposed addition are consistent with the existing building and with other structures in the vicinity of the property. The motion and addition carried unanimously by roll call vote.
