Item No. 3 (continued) <br />1. that the lot coverage does not exceed the zoning limits; <br />2. that there are no extenuating circumstances that would require _ <br />certification by a structural engineer as to the foundation; and <br />3. that the following reason cited in the appeal, "that the other - <br />inadequacies which may be found upon further investigation," is too <br />vague upon which to make a decision. <br />ADDITION TO MOTION: on the recommendation of City Attorney Schricker, <br />and with the consent of the maker of the motion and the second, the <br />following findings were added to the Motion: <br />1. that the proposed addition is for the purpose of providing a <br />residential facility for six or fewer persons; <br />2. that State law and current provisions in the Redwood City Zoning <br />Ordinance consistent therewith prohibit designation of or regulation <br />of residential property for such use inconsistent with other <br />permitted residential uses in the same zoning district; <br />3. the proposed use is in compliance with the use requirement of the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; <br />4. improper construction techniques were ceased upon order of Redwood <br />City, and all construction ceased pending this appeal, and such <br />matters are under the administrative jurisdiction of the Building <br />Official; <br />5. the proposed addition is in compliance with the building and zoning <br />regulations as to structural integrity, location, size, and lot <br />coverage; and <br />6. the architectural design and features of the proposed addition are <br />consistent with the existing building and with other structures in <br />the vicinity of the property. <br />The motion and addition carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -66 <br />Mayor Britschgi noted that the appellants had requested City Council to <br />review Assembly Bill No. 1240 introduced by Assemblyman Konnyu, and that it <br />had been referred to the Council's Legislative Committee, to be reported on <br />in the near future. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />There being no objection, Mayor Britschgi stated that Oral Communications will be <br />heard out of order at this time. <br />R 5%6 85 <br />Page 4 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 45 <br />Page No. 462 <br />
