Child Safety Days <br />Report of City Manager and Chief of Police 10/17/84 <br />Chief of Police Guardino summarized the report describing the program <br />sponsored by 7 -11 Stores and Dr. Pepper dealing with child safety-, to take <br />place between November 18 and December 8, 1984. Football cards picturing <br />49er players on one side, and a safety message on the other, will be <br />distributed through law enforcement agencies. <br />Title read. Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes - Bond Issue <br />(405 -09) <br />City Manager Smith introduced the subject, noting that this is the third and <br />final action to be taken by Council relative to the tax anticipation notes. <br />Director of Finance Tasseff informed Council that the pricing was made today, <br />and the issue will be sold with the very favorable interest rate of 6.2 %, <br />which he said is as low as the City could hope for. He reported that the fee <br />to Ruscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. would be $17,700, the lowest of the bids <br />received; that closing will be Tuesday, October 30, 1984 in San Francisco, <br />when the funds will be delivered, and then invested over a short term at <br />10 -1/2 to 10 -3/4 %. <br />Title read.
