Implementation Measures: <br />The City of Redwood City will continue to support, and participate in, the San Mateo <br />Countywide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (STOPPP) or an equivalent <br />program. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City will implement the STOPPP performance standards. <br /> <br />Erosion and Sediment Controls <br />Policies: <br />The City of Redwood City will require that construction and post-construction best <br />management practices and source controls be implemented for new development and <br />redevelopment projects to control the discharge of sediments to and/or fi.om municipally- <br />owned storm drains to creeks and San Francisco Bay to the maximum extent practicable. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City will require the incorporation of stormwater pollution <br />prevention measures addressing erosion and sediment controls into the planning, design, <br />and construction phases of development and redevelopment with the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City may establish development guidelines to protect areas that are <br />particularly susceptible to erosion and sediment loss. The City of Redwood City will <br />discourage grading during the wet season and will require that development projects with <br />significant erosion potential and planned construction activity during the wet season <br />implement adequate erosion and/or sediment control measures. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City will require that adequate measures be implemented to prevent <br />erosion, sedimentation and stormwater pollution during construction; and that sensitive <br />areas be adequately protected during the construction process. <br /> <br />Implementation Measures: <br />The City of Redwood City will implement the San Mateo Countywide Stormwater <br />Pollution Prevention Program (STOPPP) performance standards. <br /> <br />Post-Construclion Controls <br />Policies: <br />The City of Redwood City will require that post-construction best management practices <br />and soume controls be implemented for new development and redevelopment projects to <br />control the discharge of pollutants to and/or fi.om municipally-owned storm drains to <br />creeks and San Francisco Bay to the maximum extent practicable. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City will require the incorporation of post-construction stormwater <br />pollution prevention measures into the planning, design, and construction phases of <br />development and redevelopment with the City of Redwood City to the maximum extent <br />practicable. <br /> <br /> <br />
