Denton et al
6/17/82

At the request of Mayor Stangel, Planning
Director Schroeter explained the proposed
rezoning using maps of the subject area to
indicate existing zoning, the proposed'
changes and the resulting zoning. Mr.
Schroeter stated that the changes are
proposed because the location of Redwood
Shores Parkway has created some small,
odd-shaped lots and the adjustments would
elimina te them.

In further response to question, Mr. Schroeter and City Attorney Schricker
described the uses and height limits permitted in the requested "CB"
District, and in the "CP" District and the "CN" District; advised that
Council could approve the rezoning from "PO" to "R-2" and defer considera tion
of the rest of the proposed change; and that a zoning text change could be
made to change height limi ta tions.

City Attorney Schricker advised that the two public hearings could be opened
together and that all persons interested in speaking could be deemed to be

-.J

Reg.Mtg.
7/12/82
Page 3
